The Order Sons & Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA) is the largest and longest, established, national organization for men and women of Italian heritage in the United States. Founded in 1905 as a mutual aid society for the early Italian immigrants, today OSIA has more than 600,000 members and supporters and a network of more than 700 chapters coast to coast, making it the leading service and advocacy organization for the nation's estimated 26 million people of Italian descent. The organization's missions include encouraging the study of Italian language and culture in American schools and universities; preserving Italian American traditions, culture, history and heritage; and promoting closer cultural relations between the United States and Italy.

Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity are the human values that exemplify the ideals for which OSIA stands – freedom of thought, conscience and education; equal rights and duties for all as granted by the U.S. Constitution; and fraternity in the brotherhood of man.

The Joe DiMaggio Lodge is located in Southern Dutchess County in New York State, approximately 60 miles north of NYC. Our lodge is a central meeting place for Italian-Americans to break bread, drink wine, share stories and give back to their communities. But most importantly, it is a place where members can acquire and nurture friendships that will undoubtedly last a lifetime.
